Bayonetta 2 is most likely going to be the top game of the year.

The game is never going to bore you, instead it provides a variety of battles instead of drab, repeated combat style. The real fun is that your enemies may never bore you, for they always fight with the best of their combat abilities , be it their quick combat reflexes or their imaginative attack combos.

The Witch Time makes it entry yet again to enhance your combat experience. This mechanic momentarily slows down time, allowing the user to do a last minute evade and blast up foes with ease. Lots of attack combos and highly interesting weapons keep the game from getting any less fun. Each boss is distinct and unique in their own unique way, and the game shortens the cut scenes and increases the amount of combat time to keep it interesting and fun.

Weapons and new moves can be purchased by you to help in your increasingly difficult fights to keep it even. The feeling of doing attack combos keep you excited as you were at the beginning of the game. Everything you need to know, that is the absolute essentials, are taught in the simplest way possible. The game encourages you to improve by your self and learn advance combos to ward off your enemies. The rise of your abilities is therefore at a steady level, which ensures that the game play doesn't get too easy or too tough.

Every time you finish a level(or a chapter), the game rates you based on what level of combat skill you displayed during that particular level. This scoring provides you with an incentive to aim higher and improve your skills. Scoring better has its rewards for a better score gives out rewards such as extra currency or score multipliers which are usually great incentives to improve combat tactics.

The Umbron Climax, an intriguing combat technique which allows the Bayonetta to launch a full scale, powered up attack along with a useful demon summon and health reclamation every time its used. While this attack is very useful in combat, a fully filled up magic gauge is needed to use this attack.

Bayonetta 2 brings in the online multiplayer, where the player bets currency with their opponent , where after six action-packed rounds, the game comes to a halt while simultaneously declaring a winner, the difficulty increases as the number of halos(currency) wagered increases.

Back in the story mode, challenges are thrown at you to complete to up the ante of the game. The player can also start searching for hidden battles which are present in every level of the game. Its also loads of fun to search for Nintendo based costumes and items.

Bayonetta 2 brings out the class and style of an action-based game. While the story line is a bit poor, the exciting combat system makes up for it. The visual is fantastic and jaw-dropping, the character designs are near-perfection. What else can you ask in a perfect action game, which Bayonetta 2 truly is.

This perfect action hack n slash game is only available in Wii U. So if you don't own one, then that is very sad because games like this may not be released again. But who knows ? Maybe we will see another game which may overlap  Bayonetta 2.
